Below mentioned the skill sets required. Position: Lead Oracle DBA Duration: Long term Location: Princeton, NJ Job description : Performs all Oracle Database Administration related activities. Install and upgrade and manage Oracle RAC databases with ASM as required on Linux and Solaris Operating systems. Install, Upgrade and manage Oracle Grid Control system Troubleshoot and resolve RAC and Veritas clustering issues in all database environments Schedules and coordinates database maintenance activities. Provides technical expertise to the development of solutions for such items as DBMS tools and utilities usage, database administration, backup and recovery, database performance tuning and monitoring. Performs database migrations, upgrades and structure migrations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 10-12 years of experience, with At least the last 5-7 years as Lead Oracle DBA on all aspects of Oracle Database Administration in a large/challenging database environment on Unix / Linux platform.
