Candidate will be reducing maintenance needs, improving reliability, reducing execution time and performance tuning and monitoring. Candidate will assist with the definition of service level requirements from all areas of the company, as they relate to the business Intelligence including application availability, acceptable downtime, data integrity, user support, issue resolution, etc. Candidate will be working with other IT teams on application project ETL processes and will ensure standards and procedures for Data Warehouse, ODS, and Data Mart ETL processes are followed. Candidate will design and architect new ETL processes prior to development to ensure the best approach is chosen and will analyze, review and modify programs to increase operating efficiency of ETL. Lastly successful candidate will conduct technical testing of ETL processes to ensure data integrity, prepare technical system documentation that accompanies a new system being implemented, maintain Centralized Issue Logs and weekly status reports and configuration Management and code Release Migration. Required Experience Includes: 5 - 8 Years of experience. Min 3 Years experience in Informatica (Powercenter 8.0 and above). Min 3 Years Unix Shell scripting experience Min 5 years of relational database experience, at least 3 of which with DB2 Excellent understanding of ETL concepts and should be good at DB2 / SQL Server databases Working knowledge of the Business Intelligence (BI, OLAP, ROLAP) tools including metadata tools Bonus/Soft Skills: Should be flexible in working night shifts Data modeling experience and expertise with data modeling tools is desirable Hands on Unix administration experience is nice to have SAS experience is a definite plus.
