Identify and assess business system needs by working with project management to create logical solutions using JDE applications for new clients. Research is performed to create functional and technical designs that will ensure systems can be effectively developed and implemented to meet the actual business needs. The position requires the configuration and testing of the JDE software application to meet those client business needs. Responsibilities include: Working with project management to define business requirements for new clients or new implementations. Support the complete development lifecycle including requirements gathering, documentation, design, development, integration testing and deployment. Researching capabilities of the current ERP system and recommending system configurations to meet the business requirements. Preparing detail system designs for system configuration settings and system changes or modifications. Developing, organizing and executing system test plans and evaluating the results of the program and procedure tests. Overseeing the timely completion of implementation assignments and keeping management informed of project progress and potential problems, particularly as to needed changes in schedule, resources, and detail designs. Participate in client-facing meetings, anticipating client needs before they arise and present solutions to project management. Understand client expectations and recognize when issues/events may affect delivery. Required Experience Requirements: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a business or information technology related field. 4+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar roles with strengths in gathering requirements, configuration and testing. 4+ years working with JD Edwards World 7.3 business systems with emphasis on Distribution and WHS management modules and related custom interfaces. Experience with multiple JD Edwards upgrades or implementations. Ability to quickly understand client requirements and related business issues. Results-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven attention to detail with higher level problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
