The assignment for this job gives you the opportunity to be part of our R&D Center, working closely with mobile software development professionals in IT & Telecom. This is a great opportunity for you to join an expanding team working in a global, industry-leading company in a highly transactional, purely web-based environment. You would be joining at the exciting, early stages of this mobile design and development team in a position to be able to help form early strategy, develop constantly evolving Android, iOS and cross-platform applications. This role is the chance to gain valuable experience in an established company, at the very top of its fast-moving, profitable and successful online industry. Requirements Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Good knowledge of cross-mobile-browser web applications – ideally across the majority of modern mobile OSs (iOS, Android, Windows mobile, Blackberry); A well-rounded experience developing Android SDK apps. Familiarity with NDK would be an asset; Excellent skills in C, C++ and/or Java (strong OOP preferred) Knowledge of Eclipse, versioning systems (SVN, CVS, GIT), Redmine; Knowledge relational database, and other data storage solutions is a plus; Knowledge of profiling analysis results and translate into user-friendly reports. Preferred Knowledge and Skills Working within an Agile (Scrum) development team; Previous experience in developing applications for Unified Communication (within Telecom). Experience of working with elements of extreme programming / XP methodologies (Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development); A true interest in keeping up to date with the latest technologies.
