Must have Skills: 1) Core Java J2EE Development Skills (7+ years of Java J2EE development). 2) Communication skills (need to be able to interact with the business users, directors, team-members, customer interfacing project). 3) Leadership (experience as a tech lead required, need to be able to provide direction to more Junior developers, know what to do as a team lead when things go south, or when juggling multiple projects at the same time). 4) Web Services experience, IBM WebSphere Application Server. This Java Lead will be managing the integration of 3rd party tools into the e-business client’s platform. Core Java skills are required but also would like to candidate background/professional experience in projects using at least 1 or 2 of the following technologies. If candidates do not have all 3 but show potential, the manager will train in the technologies they have not yet worked on. 1) ATG This is the click to chat technology (C2C) product they are running, ATG is now an Oracle product and configuration based. It's an instant service, client would like to install on their platform. 2) Survey Tools Client’s e-business is using a survey tool called Foresee for feedback. However any type of survey tool that is configured to ask a website user and or visitor to provide feedback on their service or experience would be relevant. 3) Ominature Site Catalyst Made by Adobe, Site Catalyst is a web analytics reporting tool; how and where users are accessing a site- whether directly through client’s or associated websites, on mobile devices, or via social media. The client is looking for someone to have 1 or 2 of these 3rd party tool integrations experience in conjunction with a professional Java J2EE development background.
