Position : Web Developer Education : Engg/MCA Experience : 5+ years Location: Bangalore Compensation : Competitive and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile : 1. To work with Project Managers and Lead Front End Web Developer in preparation, designing and development of websites ensuring strong optimization and functionality are accomplished. Support Lead Front End Web Developer in execution of projects. To use AVG Content Management System (Adobe CQ) to author existing and new webpages and set up personalistion and segmentation. To prepare and test new components for authoring in Adobe CQ. Implement and review localized content. To ensure all content is appropriately tagged and tracked. Translate existing comps into usable websites and components. To resolve assigned bugs from Bugzilla/Jira in timely manner. To mentor and train those with less experience through formal and informal training programs. Review site for broken links, out-dated content, and incorrect or non-functioning interactive or transactional forms, take corrective action. To perform web usability and accessibility testing and to be responsible for all Quality Testing. Deliver projects on time. Work collaboratively with the creative team, Operations Specialist and other Developers. Perform other web content tasks as needed. 2. Good understanding of major operating systems. Desire to stay updated on current and new technologies. Needs to be detail-oriented, resourceful, and work well under pressure. Strong attention to detail. Web / Graphical Design skills - Knowledge of design applications such as Adobe Photoshop or similar software would be desirable. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential. Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team setting. Understands browser specific compatibility issues and ability to resolve them. Understanding the difference in content development for desktop and mobile sites. Able to communicate project status, issues and resolutions. Ability to work additional hours as needed. Consistently delivers high-quality services to clients. Strong presentation skills and the ability to transfer complex knowledge to others. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a deadline driven environment. Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications. Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills and ability to apply business logic to development requirements. Ability to understand and follow standard processes. Knowledge of web usability and accessibility standards and web technologies. Understanding of website design principles and best practices. Experience working with, designing and developing Content Management Systems. Knowledge of internet advertising, e-mail marketing, traffic metrics, or affiliate advertising is a definite plus.
