"Data Warehouse Architect in Chicago, IL Data Warehouse Architect Chicago, IL 4 month contract to hire The Database/Data Warehouse Architect’s role is to strategically design and implement data warehouses, data marts, and data stores, while ensuring high levels of data quality and availability. This individual is also responsible for defining data standards and models for warehouse architectures The Database/Data Warehouse Architect will evaluate, make recommendations, implement and support infrastructure components such as BI tools, reporting tools, database management systems and networking capabilities. This is a 4 month contract to hire position located in Chicago. Must have a four year degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Business Administration, or 6-8 years of direct work experience required. Must have 5 -7 years of experience working as a Data Architect for corporate data warehouses, on an SQL Server platform, preferred. Experience performing business requirements analysis and data modeling. Strong, up-to-date skills in a variety of technologies such as Business Objects, SAS, MS/SQL, Analysis Services and/or OLAP preferred. Must be currently working in a similar position As part of Sentinel's employment process, candidates will be required to complete a background check.
