Our client, a leading provider low latency financial market data and trading solutions is seeking C++ Consultants. No financial experience is needed as your software development, problem solving, design and programming skills will be paramount. You will have a unique opportunity to build proprietary software that will make an immediate impact on a global marketplace. You will use your C++ skills to create highly visible, large-scale software for areas including market making, algorithmic trading, event-based trading, black box trading, solutions for high frequency trading firms and hedge funds, risk management and direct market connectivity. The team is comprised of software developers of all experience levels and industries including: telecommunications, internet, defense and space, computer games, semiconductors and wireless to name a few. These are long-term contracts located in NY. Required: • Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) – advanced degree preferred • Excellent C/C++ programming skills • Brilliant problem solving abilities • Demonstrated experience working on the design, implementation, and deployment of large, complex software projects. • Practical knowledge of data structures and algorithms • Ability to understand sophisticated mathematical and financial concepts."
