"DMS / CS2K O&M Engineer – Australia DMS / CS2K O&M Engineer urgently needed by one of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, for a contract based in Australia. The network consists of DMS/Hybrid CS2k and CS2kc NGN switching platforms, so only Consultants with this specific experience will be considered. The DMS / CS2K O&M Engineer will be responsible for all VoIP, with a particular focus on Architecture, but other Network Elements (NE's) such as ACME SBC, Oracle IN, etc. too. He will be in charge of building all translations and routing for the DMS / CS2K, Troubleshooting, Modifications, Installation and General Maintenance. Most of the activities below will require one or all of the following written documents: High Level Designs(HLD's), Low Level Designs(LLD's), Impact Assessments(IA's), Method of Procedure(MoP) & Implementation Plans(IP's) & CR's. With respect to our Internal Customers, the position works closely with our Carrier & Vendor Relations, and Product & Sales team, providing them with advice & solutions. Main activities include: Operations Support to T3, T2 & T1 & Corporate help desks. Operational & Business Support System ( OSS & BSS) development teams- LNP, CLI, MNP & INP loaders and In house provisioning. Mediation & Billing development on new solutions & faults. Capacity Planning & Management. Test bed administration & setup for IOT to other NE's & Customers. Provides assistance to other team members with setting up the Labs for other projects & fault finding. With External customers, the position has an active role in the areas of design, integration & UAT: Review deliverable's, create IP, submit CR, work with OSS, BSS and provisioning development, undertake UAT and support provisioning and complete data entry or updates. Integration, Inter -Operateability Testing (IOT) & Compliance testing. Complex fault resolution. Legal & regulatory compliance as well as reviewing & commenting on ACMA-telecommunication recommendations.
