Sarah De Laet posted a job: nXt-IT is looking for a Senior Operational WebSphere Application Server System Engineer start : asap Duration : 31/12/2013 Location : Brussels Ref nr 1773 "Job description As Senior Operational Websphere Application System Engineer, you carry out the following tasks: • Support of the complete "Operational/Run" Websphere environment • Deploy and install Websphere Applications • Perform pre-defined tasks for the applications (Stop/Start, Packages installation) • Handle Service Requests, Incidents, Problems , Changes and Configuration Management at operation level • Support tasks associated with running the operation and maintenance of the information systems Your profile Knowledge and experience • Owner of a Master or Bachelor degree, 5 years of IT experience with at least 3 years as WebSphere System Engineer. • Advanced knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, including clustering for high-availability and performance, administrative scripting, troubleshooting, as well as Java EE development best practices. • Familiar with web infrastructure devices, like load-balancers, reverse proxies, authentication proxies. • French or Dutch with fluent knowledge of English.
