This position is ideal for an experienced IT/Network/Security Engineer who is security focused and looking for a new challenge to work in a busy and constant changing environment. The person has to have a professional aid in keeping the businesses computer and network systems running smoothly, to help prevent the theft of sensitive and personal information through constant monitoring and analysis to avoid untold losses in productivity and money. The IT Security Engineer is responsible for identifying any software and hardware security weaknesses. The company requires a highly motivated individual to strengthen our infrastructure with a high available protection against cyber-attacks, malwares and threats. Specific duties include but are not limited to the following: • Support and design network and security solutions for EMEA and Asia Pacific • Monitoring of firewall and correlated logs for potential threats, intrusions and misuse • Respond to system and network security • Maintain user requests on content restricted issues • Responsibility to verify and approve security change requests • Improve and document processes related to security monitoring and stabilization • Support the company to comply with Corporate Policies aligned to NIST and SOX • Perform and follow-up on security scans to ensure sustainable vulnerability remediation • Assist in risk analyses for central and distributed systems and networks • Help in designing, deploying and maintaining of a distributed intrusion detection system • Analyze and review firewall configurations and rules (and those of other security devices) and recommend enhancements • Maintaining vendors related to networking and security • Participate in regulatory compliance reviews Further opportunities: Analyze forensically preserved evidence on hard drives or mobile devices Products used in the corporate environment: McAfee Enterprise Firewall (Sidewinder), McAfee IronMail, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Safeword, Netscaler, Tripwire, Sentinel, Nessus, Cisco (Router, Switches, APs, WCLs) Missing skills and product knowledge can be acquired internally and externally during the employment. Qualification/Experience - at least 2 years of Cyber/Information security and/or network operations experience Mandatory experience with: • Network in Layer 2 and 3 (Switching, Routing, Wireless) • Maintaining Firewall and Content Security Systems (Internet Proxy / Email) • Deploying and maintaining end point protection including device encryption • IPSEC / SSL VPN Technologies • Common Internet Services (DNS, NTP, DHCP, etc.) • Application analyzing capabilities (communication troubleshooting within Layer 2, 3 and 7) • Windows Operating Server and Client Systems • Active Directory 2003, 2008 and/or 2012 • Oral and written communication skills in English, German and preferably French are mandatory as customer interaction is required. • Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with a strong desire to learn. • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Preferable experience: Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Perl, AWK, SED, PHP, Java, etc.), Forensic analyzing capabilities (Malware detection and analyze), Intrusion Prevention (Deployment and Management), Change Management / ITIL, SOX, NIST / CIS Excellent salary and benefits package Please send your CV in Word format to crippsn@gmail.com"
