"Our client a well-established player which designs and distributes fashion accessories, is looking for a Senior Production Manager, based in Indonesia. PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Manage all aspects of production of more than 1000 references per month in a completely outsourced environment. Management of outsourced production and CMT experience is a must. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare operational plans consistent with company objectives • Conduct weekly production meeting with the production management team to discuss all production related problems • Control the cost of production in order to maximize the output and minimize the wastage of materials, time and manpower • Maintain and improve the production efficiency of all processes in order to fully utilize the outsourced capacities • Organize and coordinate the progress of all the production processes and ensure that the finished goods are in a good quality and on time deliver to meet customers’ requirements • Maintain process excellence: zero defects and stable operations. • Encourage implementation of processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital. • Encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact based problem solving. Requirements: • At least 5-7 years experience as Production Manager in an outsourced/CMT environment. • Diploma / Degree holder in textile, clothing, manufacturing management or relevant qualification • Over 10 years solid production experience in sizable garment factory and 5 years working experience in the same position • Solid experience in handling high volume production in tight schedule • Strong leadership with good problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills • Very strong technical background in Manufacturing combined with an experience in a high production environment ( very intense rhythm- 1000 references per month + high variety of the references) • Experience in Outsourcing Production of various products ( handbags, clothes, shoes..) • Production of bags and clothes in CMT : Ability to breakdown garment cost: understanding of gauges, weights, sweater CMT's. • Experience in an international company • High energy level required. • Strong Leader/influencer skills • Strong organizational and planning abilities • Good command of both written and spoken English.
