Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Manning Global Group is currently looking for a FBB (Fixed Broadband) Principal Consultant/ Senior Consultant for a perm Position in the UK Rachael Manning posted a job: Manning Global Group is currently looking for a FBB (Fixed Broadband) Principal Consultant/ Senior Consultant for a perm Position in the UK "FBB (Fixed Broadband) Principal Consultant/ Senior Consultant On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a FBB (Fixed Broadband) Principal Consultant/ Senior Consultant for a perm Position in the UK Responsibilities • According to the development strategy of operator, identify challenges of operators’ network, conduct network consulting service, giving clear advices on how the network should be adjusted and planned in a consultative manner, and ensure attainment of company sales goal. Well qualified candidate who even can influence the strategy of operators is high expected. • Participate in company top projects as leader or core member, promoting network consulting service, providing network development recommendation or technical expertise support for customers, and make presentations to CTO/CIO/CFO level customers. • Be able to establish and maintain a strong connection with C-level customer, participate in C-level customer presentations/speeches through high-level forum, project workshop etc. • Act as the centre person interacts with product line units, account manager and other frontline teams. Be able to recommend and influence, product development both from a commercial and technical perspective. Providing in depth market analysis to enable product managers to plan product timelines according to market requirements • Co-ordinate and provide all FBB product and solution related updates and training to Frontline staff as required. KPI: • Lead the team to reach the target of consultancy service sales revenue. • Success rate of top level consultancy project. • Setup capability and consultancy package in FBB area. Requirements: Educational degree: Bachelor or a higher degree, specialization in Communication, electronics, computer, and related fields Work experience: 15 years or more in the industry of communication, preferable with the world leading operator’s / supplier’s network strategy or planning experience. Work Place and Travel: Based in U.K. and can travel to global regions from one third to half of the time each year. Knowledge & Competence: • Industry trend knowledge: The position holder should have in-depth foundation about telecom industry trend and be familiar with the technology evolution roadmap. Such as the trend of video services, network challenge for video services, IPv6, network security etc. • Telecom network knowledge: Successful candidates should master the knowledge of telecom equipment’s and network infrastructure elements. Successful candidates should be an expert in IP bearer, transport, core, fixed access. Be familiar with terminal, video service/application platform and BSS (Business Support System) is high expected. • Network planning capability: Understand on how to obtain customer requirement and understand network planning methodology and flows. Successful candidates should be an expert in network assessment/planning in IP bearer, transport, core, fixed access. Candidates should be able to make integrated solutions. • Solution Architecture design: He should have extensive experience in solution development and network architecture design. • English : proficiency at the level of working language, and as a mother tongue Priority • Managerial Competency: Conducting Team building and talent development in a project. Designing and providing training to junior members to enable them to discover and capture new unexplored market opportunities.
