Group: IT Recruiters Subject: nXt-IT is looking for a Project Manager Infrastructure Start : asap Duration : 31/12/2013 Location : Brussels Ref nr 1825 Sarah De Laet posted a job: nXt-IT is looking for a Project Manager Infrastructure Start : asap Duration : 31/12/2013 Location : Brussels Ref nr 1825 "Durée de la mission Until 31/12/2013 Eléments de contexte Within the CIG ("centre des infrastructures IT pour le group"), the Project Management department is responsible for delivering IT infrastructure projects for the different business lines and business units of the group Furthermore, this department is also responsible for managing all migration and transition projects of the different business lines towards the new infrastructure solutions (private cloud, NGWP...) as defined by the Schéma Directeur des Infrastructures (SDI). Decription de la mission Within this department, we are currently looking for a senior IT project manager. This person will have to manage multiple medium to large and complex IT infrastructure projects for our business lines and business units, as well as some migration and transition projects of these business lines to new infrastructure standards (example: application migrations to x86 private cloud solutions). Some of these projects will also run within a European context (Spain, Hungary...), so occasional travel within Europe will be needed. Compétences techniques requises A (technical) background in IT infrastructure is highly recommended. Specific knowledge of private cloud solutions, and experience with private cloud and desktop migration projects are serious assets. Compétences méthodologiques requises A very good general knowledge of project management best practices and a proven experience (at least 10 years) in managing medium to large projects are mandatory requirements. Experience with one or more methodologies (PMBOK, Prince2…) is prefereable.
