"This is with reference to an urgent requirement with world leading product based European MNC for Senior software Test Engineers @ Bangalore location. Experience:- (5-7) years a) Experience & Background: Essential:-- Experience in Quality Assurance and/or Testing Environments, preferably in client-server and STB software system. Knowledge of Digital TV Broadcasting standards (MPEG, DVB, ISDB-T) Knowledge of Networking, Switching and Protocols (TCP/IP, RTSP, SNMP, IGMP, RTP) Experience in Linux, PERL and XML Experience in Oracle SQP admin PL/SQL skills Experience in performance and scalability tools Experience in Python, JavaScript, C, HTML5 and SVG Experience in software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and automation Proven evidence of a successful team player and effective communication skills with people at all levels Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills Able to work with limited supervision and adapt new skills/environment quickly Desirable:-- Testing Certification/Qualification – CSTE, ISEB, ISTQB Knowledge and experience agile development C and C++ programming experience would be beneficial JavaScript programming experience would be beneficial Python programming experience would be beneficial Experience of test automation with StormTest would be beneficial b) Qualifications : BE/B.
