"Senior Security and Data Center Network Engineer – Brussels An Expert in Security and Data Center Network is needed for one of our international clients in the Telecommunications arena, on permanent basis in Brussels. Your mission will be to analyse, design, develop and support maintaining technical solutions for the data centers and networks in order to support the activities and the strategic goals of the company. Responsibilities: ● Engineer centralized data centers and remote data center networks for international carrier market services (including Firewalls, Data center Network routing/ switching, Network appliances like DNS, DHCP, Reverse Proxy’s, SSL VPNs, … ) ○ Strategy, Architecture, Design and Solution definition ○ LAB Testing, including Service & Product Validation and new software validations ○ Infrastructure Lifecycle Management ○ Support to Operations Teams (provide Hand-Over solution documentation and Expert-level troubleshooting support) ○ Supplier Management ● Assist the security team to ○ create/ maintain security governance rules ○ perform targeted security analysis ○ participate to security audits ● Follow up technological and market trend evolution ● Provide internal workshops & ad-hoc trainings Requirements: ● Degree in Engineering (civil or industrial) ● Experience of min. 5 years in the telecom industry for Data Center Network and Security matters ● Expert knowledge and strong hands on experience in: ○ Data Center network architecture and configurations ○ Firewall configuration (Cisco ASA min) ○ Cisco High-End routers (7600/ ASR9k) and Nexus Family (1K, 2K, 5K, 7K) ○ Load Balancer configurations F5 ○ Ipv6 ○ Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP) ○ Switched network environments (QinQ, (rapid) Spanning tree variants, 802.3ad) ○ IP Sec configurations ○ MPLS Layer2, Layer3 VPN ○ OTV, Fabric Path, LISP, VxLAN ○ QoS design and configurations ○ Traffic inspection (DPI) & optimization, caching, acceleration (OAM) ○ Proxy & Reverse Proxy ○ DHCP, DNS, NAT, SSL VPN, SSL ○ SNMP & Syslog management ● Having worked in service provider environment is a strong plus ● Being technical creative and autonomous is absolutely a must have ● Strong analytical spirit & helicopter view ● Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.
