Group: IT Recruiters | Technical Recruiters | Staffing Subject: Hiring Now: Excellent Job Opportunities for SENIOR DATA ENGINEERs in a leading Internet Company in Germany Sepideh Fathi posted a job: Hiring Now: Excellent Job Opportunities for SENIOR DATA ENGINEERs in a leading Internet Company in Germany "Responsibilities: • Find and analyze transportation data available on the internet • Transform transportation data (datasets, data APIs, etc.) that can be integrated into our platform • Researching open data sources, parsing and scraping websites analyzing APIs • Giving tech feedback on data quality • Transforming datasets (CSVs, XML, SQL dumps, etc.) • Make data available for the platform Requirements: • Computer science degree or equivalent professional education • Several years of professional experience • Overwhelming desire to find and process data, ready to be a real data cruncher • High level expertise in scraping tools • Knowledge and experience of APIs (Rest, SOAP, etc.) and scripting languages • Knowledge about GTFS is a big plus • Awareness of all the trends in the Open Data movement • Skills with Scrum or any other agile methodology are a plus Remunerations: • An attractive salary and benefits package will be awarded the hired Candidates.
