"Xybion is looking to immediately hire the following role on full time basis. This role will work out of our Chennai office. We seek candidates with excellent communication skills and that would be willing to work an US shift. This position will support the Maximo Asset Management systems for a global enterprise system using Maximo 6.2 and Maximo 7.1. Essential Functions: • Provide Level 2 technical support to end users of the Maximo 6.2.8 and Maximo 7.1 Asset Management systems. • Working knowledge of Maximo in the areas of Assets, Locations, Work Orders, PMs, Job Plans, Calibration, Purchasing, Inventory and system administration is required. • Manage the incoming helpdesk ticket support requests via the helpdesk request system (Service Now) and provide status updates to end users and management. • Provide assistance to users to research system problems or errors, and assist with the resolution of tickets. • Knowledge of Maximo 6 Actuate Report Administration. • Knowledge of Maximo 6 and 7 Organization and Site administration. • Working knowledge of Oracle SQL databases with proficiency in SQL queries and database tools used to access the database, such asTOAD, SQL Plus, etc. • Able to understand, communicate and precisely document technical issues in the helpdesk tracking system. Required Skill set: • BS in Engineering, Information Technology or Business related field and / or equivalent work experience • Strong Maximo 6 and 7 functional knowledge • Minimum of five (2) years of hands-on experience in a functional position with the implementation and utilization of fully integrated enterprise asset management system • Minimum of four (3) years Maximo experience in versions 6 and up. • Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff from line workers to upper management • Ability to create and maintain user documentation and training aids.
