As a BPM design lead you will work directly with workflow designers throughout the entire life-cycle of workflow applications to define, design, and implement business process based solutions. Responsibilities • Be the Senior Design Lead in the Workflow Core Competencies team • Work with Workflow Designers within AIG Investments, Treasury and Risk Operations & Systems and their stakeholders to design and implement BPM based solutions using Appian BPM software • Understand functional process and technical system requirements • Work with the Workflow Designers to define and manage the scope for the workflow applications Required Experience and Skills • 8 + years related experience in IT with specialized experience in software delivery or development (Java/JEE) • 2+ years of technical leadership experience • Experience with design, configuration, testing, and deployment of enterprise software applications • Experience in process analysis or improvement areas • Strong communication and presentation skills • Strong problem solving and design skills • Ability to quickly understand business goals, processes and requirements • Demonstrated project management skills (risk management, scope management, change control, etc.) • Strong background in relational database design Experience or working knowledge in each of the following technologies: • Experience with BPM & Workflow Suites – Appian, Pegasystems, Nintex, K2, SharePoint, etc. • Java or C#, JavaScript, T-SQL, PL-SQL, Database platforms and Web Services • Web application architecture concepts including application servers, web servers and the Windows Server operating system"
