Today we are trusted to manage over 1,000 security devices for over 80 customers across 5 continents. At their core they have a specialist team of highly accredited IT security consultants and engineers who have extensive experience with all the core security infrastructure technologies, including: firewalls, authentication servers, proxy servers, antivirus engines, load balancing and high-end routers. The role of The Network Engineer is a key position, embracing relationships between their blue chip clients whilst managing the partnerships with service providers to ensure all services are running at optimum level. You will be responsible for ensuring the datacentre systems and CISCO infrastructure on the Linux systems are maintained and updated to a high level. You will be put to the test, using your creativeness and proven abilities to liaise with staff on new projects and ideas to driving the infrastructure forward in technology and expansion. As a Network Engineer you will be focused on ensuring you drive improvements forward across an array of systems including; CISCO, ASA's and Checkpoint Firewalls. You will keep all documentation and performance information up to date. It will be your responsibility to ensure the trade infrastructure is running at highest availability by prioritising any issues that arise and become a key part of this growing team and infrastructure. Checkpoint is a key technology that needs design and maintenance, this is an exciting opportunity to work with Cisco and checkpoint and create new ways of working and thinking.
