Shrinivas Deo posted a job: Urgently Looking for System Administrator at Pune "The Details are as follows: • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. • Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. • Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. • Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational standards. • Accountable for the following systems: Linux and Windows. • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. • Perform daily network to ensure network availability, system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs. • Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leads problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations. • Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical host computer resources. • Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. Maintain network hardware and software. • Configuration, installation and upgrade tasks within the distributed systems environment Requirements Troubleshooting experience in corporate environment Elementary know-how in server based computing (Citrix, MS Terminal Services) MCSE: Server Infrastructure (Solutions Expert) Cisco Certified Network Associate and Cisco Certified Network Professional Location: Pune. Travel to Dammam, Saudi Arabia might be required whenever needed.
