Corina Tudorache has started a discussion: Senior Windows Infrastructure Support Engineer "SkyConsult one of the leading IT consulting global company focused on leading edge technologies and best practices is hiring. Our services include but are not limited to Business Consulting, IT Operations, Critical Stabilization and Improvement, Infrastructure and Cloud. The main objectives of the new Job will be to support, troubleshoot and resolve issues within a global ITIL framework. This includes defining key monitoring metrics that enable us to identify and address degradation of critical IT systems. The right candidate is passionate about driving quality and supporting global customers. This role could leads to a position as the technical lead role with subordinates for the right candidate. The Main Duties and Responsibilities will be: • Participates as a team member for operations of company infrastructure • Performs operational infrastructure support design when necessary for client applications • Responsible for ensuring each reported problem is resolved inside of Service Level Agreements • Ensures that the infrastructure is patched, reliable, and operating under industry best practices • Writes knowledge articles pertaining to solving infrastructure issues for Global Staff Support • Solving medium to high complexity support problems and communicates problem resolution and additional information • Handles daily Shift Hand Off to Global Support Staff. • Support and own critical business\customer applications when needed If you have the following Competences and Qualifications: • Education required: o A Degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field • Experience required: o A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a related field o Specialized knowledge in multiple technical areas and experience with Windows Server administration and Troubleshooting issues o Strong LAN/WAN networking experience with hands on o Ability to leverage industry Monitoring tools both on premise and in the cloud o Experience installing, configuring and deploying Window Server Environments using Microsoft Solutions o Experience planning, managing and maintaining Active Directory, Group Policy and Network Services o Experience managing Disaster Recovery inside of a Windows Server Environment o Good familiarity with the Microsoft platform (Operation Center, Azure, SQL and IIS) • Certifications Required: One of the following MCSE certs o MCSE: Windows Server Infrastructure 2012 R2 (Exams: 410, 411, 412, 413, 414)) o MCSE: SharePoint 2013 (Exams: 410, 411, 412, 331,332) o MCSE: Private Cloud (Exams: 410, 411, 412, 246, 247) If you are: • Able to work well within a team environment • Assertive and be able to hold a professional attitude at all times • Able to work independently within established guidelines and procedures And if you have: • Moderate English written and oral communication skills • Strong problem solving, analytical and customer service skills • The ability to exercise sound judgmental and decision making abilities when out of process work is required …….we are waiting you to submit your application to corina.tudorache@skyconsult.com and to join our team.
