"Location Washington, DC 20011 Job Type:Contract Salary: $70 to $75 Hourly Requirements 1. Develop and enhance software as directed, including VB.Net forms, classes, user controls, SQL Server stored procedures, user-defined functions, and views. 2. Test developed and enhanced software. 3. Comply with the project’s development standards and best practices which include software version control. 4. Contractor is expected to clarify existing design specifications/requirements where necessary and develop and unit test assigned subsystems or program elements. Contractor must be accustomed to working to a project plan with milestones and deadlines. Personnel Qualifications Individuals will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. In general, the following capabilities are a minimum set of candidate credentials: 1. (Required) At least two years of application programming experience with Windows desktop applications and class libraries written in VB.NET. 2. (Required) At least two years of SQL Server database experience, including developing stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, and updating/retrieving data using ADO.Net. 3. (Required) Understanding of object-oriented concepts and methodologies. 4. (Desirable) Experience with Crystal Reports. 5. (Desirable) Experience with Excel application development. 6. (Desirable) Experience with Install Shield. 7. (Desirable) Experience with CSLA. 8. (Desirable) Experience with NUnit. Position to be filled immediately!!! Adrian A.
