Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred Job description: Responsible for the creation of new Windows Installer packages Repackaging of existing Windows Installer packages to support application upgrades and compatibility with Microsoft Windows 7. Software packaging primarily utilizing the Wise product and Windows Installer. Participate in R&D activities relating to application streaming and zero-touch deployment solutions Determine best methods for distributing applications to workstations and servers Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of failed application installations Detailed knowledge of Windows XP/Win7 operating systems Software packaging using technologies such as MSI and Windows Installer 3 years experience with Wise Package Studio Knowledge and experience using scripting tools SMS/SCCM Installer Working knowledge of the MS InstallShield product. Proficiency with custom actions and transforms Software Development Skills, preferably Visual Basic, Web Development, SQL database. Scripting language experience with VBScript and Java Script. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
