"This individual will take on responsibility as the BW expert, who will have the following main functions: * Application development & maintenance * Customer/internal requirements analysis * New features design and implementation * Testing * Troubleshooting & 3rd level support Key Skills would be: * ABAP developer with at least five years of experience in SAP development. Should have a good understanding of SAP transactions, roles, etc * Deep experience in BW > release 3.5 * Good functional knowledge of SRM * Good Knowledge in BW 7.x, with experience in integration with NetWeaver Portal * Solid problem solving skills * Hands on implementation experience in both BW 3.5 and 7.0 with solid, individual contribution record. Should have seen the implementation through from day 1 * Performance optimization experience * Experience in both back-end (ODS, cubes, data extraction) and front end (role definition, authorization) * Experience in migration from BW 3.5 to 7.0 * Experience in working in a structured SDLC environment Recruitment Conditions: This is a permanent position based in Houston office. Some travel to European offices and/or customer sites would be required as needed."
