Subject: Urgent opening for the java / Grails Developer, Seattle WA Chaithanya Ponaganti posted a job: Urgent opening for the java / Grails Developer, Seattle WA "We are looking for the java developer / Grails Developer Title: Java Developer/ Grails Developer Duration: Full time/ Contract / Contract to hire Location: Seattle, WA Responsibilities: •Design, develop and document software components using best practices. •Contribute original ideas and architectural thinking. •Maintain and support current system and ongoing beta programs. •Perform code and design review. •Hand-on development and maintenance of software applications/components. Requirements: •BA/BS in Computer Science or related field. •Strong Java development skills: 3+ years in commercial hands-on Java software development. •Knowledge of J2EE Application Servers (Tomcat / Glassfish / JBoss / Web Sphere). •Strong knowledge of Servlets, JSP, JSF, JDBC, Multi-threading. •Experience in working with ORM frameworks. Hibernate is a plus. •SVN / Ant / Maven knowledge. •JavaScript / DHTML / XHTML / XSLT / CSS / XML / XSD knowledge. •Experience in Object Modeling. •Team Player / Raw Intelligence / Uncompromising integrity. •Ability to work independently with minimum guidance. •Drools, Groovy, Grails, Spring, OSGi experience is a plus. •Agile Development & Continuous Integration experience is a plus.
