If interested, please send your WORD CV with your availability to peter.edwards@netlink-group.com Rate: Euro 500 per day Experience Level: 5/7 years Languages: English and French proficient (written and orally), Dutch is a plus Location Brussels • Home base will be Ariane (Woluwe) • Frequent travel to other Group locations o Brussels (up to 2 days/week) o Paris (up to 2 days/week and exceptionally more) o Other (exceptionally) Technical environment •UNIX OS (HPUX, AIX, Solaris, Redhat Linux) •Windows OS (server and workstation) •MS Active Directory •MS SharePoint •PKI •DBMS (Oracle, MS SQL) •Server/Application/Desktop Virtualisation (VMware, Citrix) •Storage Virtualisation (SAN/NAS) •Web Services, SOA, .Net Mission and Objectives • Acts as Security SPoC o in Projects o in the validation of IT Infrastructure changes • Acts as a Security Architect in the Group Infrastructure Master Plan Activities • Security SPoC's responsibilities o Ensures adherence to IS Security Policies and Standards and participates in the validation of requested Policy deviations o Assesses risks and proposes mitigation actions in projects o Validates infrastructure and application architectures and technical designs from a security perspective o Provides (or seeks) security advise in support of the project leaders and architects • Security Architect's responsibilities o Assists in assessing the current operational processes and infrastrucutres ("as is") o Contributes to the vision and strategy (evolution of IT infrastructures and commodity applications) from a security perspective, proposing security architecture solutions concerning identity and access management, remote access, PKI, network security, datacenter segmentation and operational management. o Obtains buy-in of various stakeholders (Management, Operations, Expertise, Customers, Providers...) Background Education •Master degree in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent through experience •Professional certifications are a plus •Technical/Products (e.g. MCSE) •Security (e.g. CISSP) •Architecture (e.g. TOGAF/SABSA) Work Experience •Senior - min. 6 years working experience within IT with demonstrable security related activities Skills & Specific Knowledge • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles • Experienced in developing, documenting and maintaining security standards and procedures • Proficient with IS security-related concepts, techniques and mechanisms • Profound knowledge of the IS Security CBK domains • Familiarity with several of following o UNIX OS (HPUX, AIX, Solaris, Redhat Linux) o Windows OS (server and workstation) o MS Active Directory o MS SharePoint o PKI o DBMS (Oracle, MS SQL) o Server/Application/Desktop Virtualisation (VMware, Citrix) o Storage Virtualisation (SAN/NAS) o Web Services, SOA, .Net Reporting • Hierarchical Security Manager • Functional Project Leaders Infrastructure Master Plan Track Leaders Internal/External Relationships • Internal Security Manager and Team, Project Leaders, Architects, Technical Designers, Service Delivery Managers, Department Managers • External Group Security Officers, Vendors, Customer Representatives"
