Specific emphasis will be focused on eBusiness Suite release 12. Responsibilities: Provide Technical leadership for development team members for Oracle Ebusiness Suite. Define standards for integration and application extensions. Understand the technical and business requirements and provide input to the project, account, and system teams Participate with business architects and analysts in defining business requirements Translate business requirements into documented data, application, and infrastructure requirements Define and apply common best practices for the application architecture and communicate them to the user and development communities Map logical application systems to physical application systems Define the application architecture(s) taking into account business and technical requirements, client environment, commercial tools, and stated project/program objectives. Provide advanced troubleshooting and consulting services to the project team(s) when requested. Provide liaison with infrastructure support group in the areas of procurement, procurement scheduling, and architecture integration. Essential Knowledge: Extensive experience in distributed technology with recent emphasis on eBusiness Suite release 12, RICEW(Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows), Web Services, integration, and SOA. The ability to review, and if necessary develop, code in SQL, PL/SQL, Java/Jdeveloper (or other languages), Unix Shell, XML, XSD, XSLT and SQL is necessary. Experience in technical design and delivery of extensions to Oracle Applications. This includes using OA Framework (Jdeveloper) and Oracle forms, Oracle Reports, personalizations, Oracle Workflow and custom concurrent programs within standard Oracle supported guidelines. Experience and understanding of appropriate usage of methodologies such as AIM or OUM is important. Deep understanding of eBusiness suite architecture is required. Essential Education: BS/BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience plus 8-10+ years of industry experience. Essential Skills: Demonstrated Technical leadership with multiple full life-cycle Oracle ERP implementations with heavy customization. Oracle eBusiness Suite release 12 implementation experience. Oracle API/open interface experience. Testing theory and practice – unit, integration, user acceptance, regression AIM or OUM (Oracle Unified Method) methodology experience.
