Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Security Network Architect Anne Dempsey posted a job: Security Network Architect "Security Network Architect - Scotland The Purpose of the role; -Provide technical and thought leadership to enable provision of a reliable, cost efficient and effective strategic solution portfolio for the Global Network Services (GNS) platform which ensures the successful delivery of the Service Level Agreement commitments of Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) -Participate as key senior technical specialist and experienced IT professional in the activities of the Strategy Architecture and Engineering function for GNS. -Provide technical direction for the platform globally in terms of scale, complexity and underlying business dependence. -Consult and advise on major platform change programmes to ensure strategic compliance and TCO is understood -Senior Technical Leadership for large GNS projects, assisting and influencing designs, to conform to current Group Standards and/or industry best practice design. Experience needed; -Typically 8-10 years of network security experience in a large network environment and typically 5+ Years of security design/architectural experience on the network platform -Successful track record in a large (20,000+ user) Global, Financial, Enterprise network. -Experience of contract negotiation and Supplier Management -Demonstrable experience of setting complex network Strategy & Roadmap -Ability to manage multiple complex activities simultaneously to short timescales -Proven ability to plan and execute complex workload in a pressurised, dynamic environment on time and to budget -Knowledge of Retail banking networks and their interaction.
