The role of a Engineer is to co-work with Manufacturing Executive to develop, implement and maintain manufacturing systems to improve the efficiency and productivity of manufacturing site operations. You will be responsible in gathering of requirements, translation them into functional specification and implement solutions for project enhancement. You will need to conduct acceptance test for systems enchancement and development ensuring accuracy and reliability prior to implementation. You will be fully responsible to install, upgrade, integrate and resolve systems related issues. You will also need to develop user guides, training materials for new and existing manufacturing systems and conduct training on these systems for operation staffs. Modify, adapt and transfer systems across departments and also cross manufacturing sites. In order to qualify, you will be a diploma / degree holder in Computer Science with 2 to 3 years of working experience with development and maintenance of manufacturing systems in a production environment is required. Knowledge of Excel VBA, SQL, C# and .Net programming is required. Experience with R-Script would be an advantage. Good team player with a strong sense of responsibility. Ability to multi-task and strive under pressure. Possess a positive attitude and sense of urgency. Candidates who are more experienced would be considered for a senior role.
