"Here are the position details: Title: C# / .Net Developer (XAML / MVVM) Location: 80 Centre street, ,NYC, NY 10013 Duration: 6 months contract *** 7 Hours work day. 9:00 am- 5:00 pm. *** Candidates must be available for first round in person interviews on 5/24/13 between 10:00 am-5:00pm. *** Fingerprint/background check required Trigyn's Direct Government Client has a contract assignment for a C# / .Net Developer in New York, NY. Roles and Responsibilities: • Convert VB and access applications to .net. • Senior programmer needed to quickly convert applications to .net using a newly developed SQL backend. • Integrate approximately 25 individual stand-alone systems into a coordinated, standardized menu of applications using the latest version of .net and SQL 2012 • Work with in-house team to set priorities • Document system requirements • Assist in design of templates and documentation • Review data model • Work with in-house DBAs and supervising developer • Write systems according to specifications MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered. • Excellent knowledge and experience with C#/VB.Net/Asp.net • Experience with XAML and MVVM • Fast learner. Able to understand specification quickly. • Documentation. Code must be precisely documented so it can be maintained by in-house staff • Efficiency. Programmer should be able to produce efficient code which makes optimum use of resources.
