They are looking for a strong SharePoint Developer to join their expanding team. Ideally, the candidate will be analysing requirements and working in a team to develop and test code. You will be training team members to use SharePoint Coding and it’s best practices. As well as working for a Market Leading Business specialising in Solutions for the Insurance Market you will be entitled to some great Benefits. Responsibilities: • To analyse requirements starting from existing higher level specifications or from end-user/customer input and to write the corresponding programming specification. • To develop code according to the specification, to agreed time scales and to agreed standards. • To cross-test colleague’s code as required. • To analyse and fix faults in existing software. • To communicate effectively with customers and end-users in order to ensure a common understanding of business requirements. • To communicate effectively with other team members to ensure a common understanding of the technical requirements. • To ensure specifications and coding meet agreed standards. Candidate Requirements: • Good knowledge with C# • Excellent knowledge in SharePoint 2010 object model • Very good knowledge around SharePoint 2010 metadata management, document management and event receivers • Know the best practices of coding development for SharePoint 2010 in VS 2010 • Good PowerShell knowledge would be an advantage • 2 year experience with Win Form development • Previous experience with VSTO development If this role is of interest, please send your CV to sonia.kumar@Quantica.co.uk."
