Lead a team to support the technology planning, analysis and evaluation efforts for Big data related technical projects to build advanced and innovational technical capabilities. B. Work closely with product planning and business stakeholders to help define the technical strategy to best meet internal & external customers' needs .Close collaboration with business owners to transform high-level specifications into best-of-breed applications. C. Organize Charter activities provide specification documentation for technologies ready project plans and other associated project documentation. D. Collaborate with Analysts, Architects and Production Support Analysts to examine customer problems, participate in architecture design, provide technical guidance, and provide suggestions on optimal ways to deploy related technologies Requirements: Experience building highly technical, Internet scale products, particularly in the Big Data space 3+ years of experience as a technology planner working with an engineering team Experience with and deep understanding of Apache Hadoop and related technologies such as HDFS, MapReduce, HBase, Oozie, Zookeeper, Pig, Hive, and HCatalog Excellent listening, oral, and written communication/presentation skills with strong ability to influence people at all levels and in various technologies Good understanding of database concepts, architecture, and design, including data warehousing approaches, industry standards, and best practices B. Preferred Qualifications • Software development experience as an engineer, particularly in distributed systems Experience working with very large datasets with Petabytes of data distributed across large data clusters Experience of the full lifecycle with large scale data management infrastructures that support scalable data-centric applications Work assignment for candidate?
