Job Title : Java Application Developer Work Location : Newark, DE/Charlotte, NC Relevant Experience (Yrs) : Lead - Java/J2EE/Web Services (7+ Years) Developer - Java/J2EE/Web Services developer (4+ Years) Necessary Skills : Need to have excellent communication skills (including English conversation skills), demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. • Should have experience with hosting and consuming web services along with implementing Webservices Security • Should be well versed with various Design patterns • Should have experience with MDB, JMS and MQ • Should have sound knowledge in Core Java and Servlets. • Should have experience with RAD and Websphere. • Should have experience with Unix Shell scripts • Experience with DB2 • Experience with Hibernate • Experience with Log4J • Experience with JUnit and JMock • Experience with Spring framework Desired Skills • Experience in rule engines like DROOLS. • Knowledge of JMX • Experience with various data encryption methods • Experience with tools like JProfiler • Knowledge of using plug-ins like PMD and Checkstyle • Experience with Dozer, XML beans Roles & Responsibilities : • Capture the Business Requirements for the Design Document. • Prepare HLD/LLD/stories. • Deploy the Code and performing End to End Testing. • Tracking the Testing and the Defects • Communicating with the Upstream & downstream systems to make sure the requirements are captured correctly and perform the Testing. • Implementing the changes in the Production Environment. • Knowledge Transfer to the Production Support Team for any New Project being implemented. • Implementing the Issue fixes in Production after successful Testing.
