"The Director of HR provides executive level strategy and direction for ACS and its Subsidiaries. ACS is a fast-growing company that has quadrupled in size in the past 2 years. The successful candidate must be a decisive, results oriented leader who can develop and manage relationships across the company, and with clients. This individual reports directly to the CEO and founder of ACS. Director of Human Resources Key Responsibilities: • Provide HR strategy, solutions, and recommendations for U.S. and non-U.S. business activity • Ensure global alignment with Corporate and Enterprise HR initiatives; address any issues not in alignment • Strategic planning, complex problem resolution and the ability to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with staff and clients • Analyze, develop and implement compensation and benefit plans that are competitive and cost effective • Develop and integrate programs for Performance Management, Succession Planning, Talent Development, and HRIS Implementation • Design, develop, and implement HR policies, guidelines, and procedures, changing/updating existing policies when needed • Develop global and regional talent management initiatives • Integrate tools and processes required to meet the needs of the business and our clients • Coach corporate leaders on people and organizational issues • Development of Annual HR Budget • Ensure regulatory compliance with all Federal, State, and local legislation • Coordinate all on-boarding activities, globally and regionally • Manage assignments and establish orientation procedures for new hires • Manage Time and Expense entry and approval procedures • Establish timesheet and invoice approval chains that are coordinated Time and Expense Credit/Debit procedures • Assure accuracy of work orders • Assure compliance with background check and verification procedures and issues • Understand and navigate client based internal systems and the interface to ACS based applications • Establish and manage assignment extensions/ off-boarding procedures • Establish effective electronic communication standards for staff and for client interfacing • Establish employee relations procedures • Possess a deep understanding of health and safety requirements as dictated by client work environment Director of Human Resources Minimum Qualifications: • 10 years of Human Resources experience • 5 years of Executive level Human Resources experience • Strong knowledge of US employment laws and regulations in applicable countries and locally • Diversity planning and implementation • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field required • Master’s Degree preferred • Strong communication and presentation skills • Understanding of cultural diversity • Strategic thinker with large scale/growth oriented experience • Willingness to travel 25% of the time • Change Management • General PC skills mandatory, MS-Word, Excel Director of Human Resources Company Description: American CyberSystems, Inc.
