"Senior Service Engineer IP/ MPLS/ Security – Belgium IP/ MPLS, Security, good Trouble-Shooting exp., 4 years worked for a fixed/ mobile operator or wholesale carrier, English, willing to do guard duty. A Senior Service Engineer for IP/ MPLS, Security is needed for one of our international clients in the Telecommunications arena, on permanent basis in Belgium. Responsibilities: Managing and executing network projects coming from the engineering department Assuring network availability/ quality and perform active and reactive maintenance actions together with other internal teams Interacting with our vendors in order to follow up on reported issues Taking part in a guard duty service to support our 24/7 organization Continuously following the technical evolution of the network Requirements: Masters degree in electronics, informatics or telecommunication 4 years of relevant work experience in a network service provider environment Cisco/ Alcatel SR Certified at Professional/ Expert level or equal through experience Security certification and / or programming skills are considered as a plus Good knowledge on IP, MPLS, BGP/MP-BGP, IS-IS, IPv6, IP-Security Any experience with MPLS Traffic Engineering and L2 OAM protocols are considered a plus Experience with Mobile Data Network Interested to work in a service provider environment Good knowledge of Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Acces Fluency in English is required, Dutch and/or French is a big plus.
