"PR & Branding Manager - UK (PR, Branding, Marketing, CSR, Communication, Media, Event, Telecoms, UK, Perm) An experienced PR & Branding Manager is needed for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company based in the UK, on a permanent basis. You will be based in Reading. Job description This role will be part of the team responsible for customer branding, integrated Marketing activities, internal communications, social media, corporate affairs and CSR events. Key Responsibilities ● Plan and organize branding events, including customer events, banding, CSR event and customer visits and briefing. ● Responsibility for implementing branding relations program. ● Work closely with marketing teams within each business Group to ensure consistency and timeliness of message. ● Establish and maintain strong relationships/ongoing dialogue with Business Groups to develop a strong knowledge of the workings of these businesses, identify proactive communication opportunities and potential negatives issues. ● Plan and implement media relations programmes relating to corporate issues emerging from the business groups. ● Work closely with external communicators within each business Group and relevant HQ department contacts to ensure consistency and timeliness of message. ● Develop and manage Q&As for Customer Business Unit (CBU) announcements where appropriate and reactive messaging and materials for potentially negative external issues. ● VBU produces a range of corporate materials including: CBU Brochures, CBU Factsheet, standard CBU presentation, this role will be the lead responsible for the development and updating of these materials. ● Manage communication of external CBU content internally ● Develop and deliver CBU intranet news page Lead the development of a News home page on W3 Job Qualification ● Strong communication, inter-personal and team skills ● An ability to grasp complex issues quickly and communicate those issues concisely, accurately and within timescales. ● Can write proficiently in different formats and for different audiences. ● At least three years experience of working in a corporate or agency environment. ● A proven ability to lead and deliver projects. ● A good knowledge of the branding and the ability to establish and maintain a good range of related customers contact ● Can identify corporate reputation priorities directly aligned to business objectives in the operating environment ● Degree level from leading University ● Bi-lingual English/ Mandarin speaker preferred ● First language must be English as writing is a major part of the role If you are interested, available and have the appropriate skills and experiences for the above position, please forward your updated resume in a word document to Jason sales@manningglobal.com with the following reference LIJV/PRBM-4228 or call +385 1 638 7404 for further information."
