Group: Technology Recruiters S Babu has started a discussion: BI Solution Architect "Role : BI Solution Architect Work Location : Richfield, MN Duration : 12 months Job description: Client has planned to build a supply chain operational data store (ODS) which would be leveraged for operational reports & dashboards. These reporting capabilities would enable client in making right decisions to optimize its supply chain. Warehouse management system, Transportation Management System & Labor Productivity Management system would be the primary data sources of the ODS. Total experience in required skill (years) 8 years Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills • 8+ years of experience in BI Solutions and delivery experience • 5+ years of experience in Informatica/APTALK/ SQL Server/Terradata/PDW database and exposure to Supply Chain • Extensive experience Solution Architecture and working experience with customer architecture review board • Exposure to TGAF architecture framework would be added advantage • Technical team management experience including offshore team members • Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills • Retail related data warehousing experience a plus Roles and responsibility • Source systems integration plan and project setup • Project Infrastracture setup and database sizing • Document own work, create technical documents for requirements/design and internal communication • Offshore work coordination and tracking • Work with customer architecture review board on design solution approach and sign-off • Create supply/demand forecasts and create work pipeline • Work with technical team in reviewing the code • Stay current with emerging industry trends • Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks • Good written and oral communication • Explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions • SQL knowledge and performance tuning experience needed Thanks & Regards, Sudheer Sage IT Inc | www.sageitinc.com | 3011 Internet Blvd. Suite 110 Frisco, TX 75034 Phone: 972-996-0650 Ex 327 E-Mail: sudheer.divi@sageitinc.net G talk: sudheer.itrecruiter333@gmail.com Ymail: sudheer_sageit@yahoo.com"
