Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Java Developer, Boutique Start Up, London Sonia Kumar posted a job: Java Developer, Boutique Start Up, London "£30,000- £45,000 + Equity (Web/social media/technology/Java/HTML5/JQUERY/AJAX) A successful city based Start-Up company are looking to expand their Engineering team and are therefore looking for an extremely strong Web Applications Developer to help with a new innovative Greenfield product. The product being developed is an innovative engine used to manage multiple digital marketing channels spanning social, traditional web, email marketing and more in order to enable in-house marketers and digital agencies to efficiently manage their online presence. Expansion of the engineering team will focus improved analytics support for the forthcoming SaaS release of the product. This is an exciting role for a strong Developer with excellent Java/J2EE skills willing to work for an innovative start up and make a key contribution to their success. Responsibilities for Web Applications Developer, London: (Web/social media/technology/Java/HTML5/JQUERY/AJAX) • Working with a dynamic software development team defining requirements and translating them into to quality code • Testing and deploying applications that you’ve developed • Interact with the business and owners to convey technical issues affecting functionality and timelines • Respect existing coding standards and framework but contribute ideas and enhancements to help improve productivity and team harmony • Keep up to date with latest tech / industry trends and help the team evolve by sharing your knowledge Requirements for Web Applications Developer, London: • Good experience of developing and supporting web applications from both ends • API Integration development • Experience working in an agile environment • AWS experience • Excellent Java and Javascript (inc. jquery, ajax) skills • Good HTML, CSS skills (familiar with HTML5/CSS3) • Software design and test development skills • Play Framework experience • A self-starter who can hit the ground running and doesn't need hand holding • Needs to be self-disciplined, flexible, enthusiastic and have the desire to continuously learn new skills • Server side experience is required Desirable Skills for Web Applications Developer: (Web/social media/technology/Java/HTML5/JQUERY/AJAX) • Mobile App Development • Test Development • Databases (MySQL) • Source Control • Passion for social media (Web/social media/technology/Java/HTML5/JQUERY/AJAX) If this role is of interest, please apply to sonia.kumar@quantica.co.uk"
