You'll recruit the best people, coach and support them whilst driving activity such as proposition development and marketing Please quote Job Reference: Con-JN 5424 As a Senior Manager, you will focus on leading and delivery of client engagements, driving the development of the Operations Excellence insurance practice as well as the development of our internal capability supporting the building of a team, development of propositions and leading the development of thought leadership This role involves: · Project focus around General Insurance and Life and Pensions, from sales and marketing through to core underwriting and claims operations, as well as key functional processes including finance, risk and regulatory management. · General process performance (efficiency, error / waste elimination, re-engineering etc. · Understanding and anticipating client needs based on a strong understanding of insurance services and their associated processes. · Guiding teams in selecting and applying the most appropriate tools, techniques and approaches to deliver client work. · Assignments will include: Operating model design and delivery, process transformation, cost reduction and risk and regulation · Developing and growing the insurance practice alongside leading and shaping the OE Insurance team · Relevant experience within a major insurer or consulting firm directly involved in delivering change across the value chain of General Insurance and Life and Pensions sectors · In depth knowledge and understanding of the UK Insurance industry and market · Track record in managing the successful delivery of large, complex programmes/engagements on time and within budget · Proven ability to structure and develop and deliver transformation solutions · Track record in account development, business and relationship development and the ability to identify and act upon opportunities to build and develop the firms insurance practice footprint · Proven ability to understand, mitigate and manage risk. · Exceptional communicator with the ability to articulate complex ideas to all levels of an organisation, and effectively lead and manage all key stakeholders · Excellent programme management disciplines · Ability to lead and direct large and cross functional teams. · Excellent people management and development skills with a strong focus on team development · Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, BPR techniques methodologies · 100% flexibility regarding national (and at times international) travel The successful individual will support and drive the overall market place eminence, develop and maintain strong long term client relationships and aim to be recognised as a trusted advisor of choice within the UK Insurance sector.
