As an application engineer you will be tasked with aero design and analysis of compressors, turbines, and turbomachinery components using in-house and commercial CFD tools. You will be working in close collaboration with the design team based in our global offices. Key Responsibilities: • Conceptual 1D, 2D and 3D flow path design of turbines, compressors and pumps. • Writing papers and performing studies on various turbomachinery design topics. • Performing training to clients on turbomachinery design concepts. Description: • B.E / B.Tech, M.E / M.Tech / M.S in Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar discipline with 2+ years of professional experience. • Thorough knowledge and experience in preliminary flow path design technologies and CFD packages such as: CFX, NUMECA, and/or similar toolkits. • Turbomachinery experience on meanline design, three-dimensional flow path and blading design, and CFD analysis. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Able to work in a very dynamic, fast paced environment. • Able to develop 3D models and 2D technical drawings based on verbal instruction from a team of Turbomachinery design engineers. • Must not have switched jobs more than every 2 years during career history.
