Rachael Manning posted a job: Several Radio Network Planning & Optimization Engineers are needed - Denmark "Radio Network Planning & Optimization Engineer - Denmark Several Radio Network Planning & Optimization Engineers are needed for one of our international clients in the Telecommunications arena, on contract basis in Copenhagen. The focus lies on Radio Network Optimization. Eligibility to work in EU and fluent English language skills are prerequisites for an application. Responsibilities: ● Data collection and simulation: Provide the Radio Network design data and simulation result as the customer required such as the antenna high, tilt, azimuth, coverage result etc. ● Perform link budget, design criteria and traffic analysis. ● Good understanding of antenna theory (aperture, gain, beam width, dipole vs. isotropic), antenna performance (return loss, impedance matching, etc.), and engineering tools (spectrum analyzer, site master, etc.). ● Make the evaluation of the Mobile Network and provide the expansion plan. ● Monitoring and optimizing the network KPI´s to assure it reaches the target value, such as drop call rate, call setup success rate etc. ● Analysing drive test results and finding the Network Problems with post process tools. ● Analysing system features and parameters to optimize the network performance KPI`s. ● Providing Optimization solutions and suggestions to improve the network quality. Requirements: ● University degree in Telecommunication, Electrical/ Electronic or Computer Engineering. ● Working experience of more than 5 years in related Radio Network Planning and Optimization. ● Proficient knowledge of mobile communications and principles of GSM/CDMA/WCDMA/LTE products, signaling flow and protocols, electromagnetic theory, radio transmission, antenna system, and so on ● Comprehensive understanding of Radio frequency channel environment (fast fading, slow fading, time dispersion, scattering, diffraction, wave length/frequency dependence, etc.) and proper prediction model selection (Okomura, Hata, COST231, etc.) and their key parameters calibration for various frequencies. ● Good knowledge of Mobile system topology and system parameters of at least one of the main technologies (GSM/ GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, LTE etc.). ● Swap expereince is preferred. ● Multitechnical (2G, 3G, 4G) is preferred. ● Experience in Multi-Vendor radio network planning and optimization is preferred. ● Fluent in English is mandatory, ability to speak Dannish is preferred.
