A leading Publishing organisation requires a Senior Unified Communications Engineer. If you have experience within this field this is your opportunity to test your abilities in an exciting environment that prides themselves on being innovative in not only there work but the systems they use. As Senior Unified Communications Engineer you will apply subject matter knowledge and experience in the design and engineering of complex UC tasks on a global platform. You will provide support, consultancy and delivery of Unified Communications solutions and applications including telephony, mobility, SIP, audio/video/web conferencing and other unified message services. You will have full access to those technologies ensuring they are running at optimum levels and moving forward as the technologies themselves do so. You will work on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors. You will provide expertise support and guidance to functional project teams and participate in cross-functional initiatives. Required skills: *You will have knowledge of commutation protocols including SIP, H.323, H.264. *Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals. *Experience with traditional PSTN and IP enabled PBX systems. *Microsoft Lync Enterprise Voice *Experience with voicemail systems including Modular messaging and Microsoft UM.
