Designation: Senior Systems Engineer Location: Princeton, NJ Duration: 1+ Years Interview: Telephonic Hire Job Description: • Position Requirements Senior level systems engineer with extensive Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) experience leading the analysis of features in a Cloud Management product. • The ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, agile development environment in support of short iterative cycles is a must. • Flexibility in understanding changing business priorities are a key for this position. • The candidate must be able to guide technical teams as the SME in the following Cloud Management and Virtualization areas: Inventory and Modeling of Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning via Order Management and Activation fulfillment flows Monitoring for Service Assurance, Capacity and Metering Senior level experience in the following areas : Analysis of virtualization solutions specifically surrounding IaaS in either Private IT Cloud or Public Cloud Experience with and knowledge of PaaS and SaaS solutions Experience and knowledge of Hypervisors (such as ESXi, Xen) and Virtualization Infrastructure Managers such OpenStack or VMWare's VCenter Understanding of Order Management, Inventory and Provisioning processes for managing cloud infrastructure Exposure to Service Assurance, Capacity and Metering functions related to Cloud Infrastructure Coordinating and communicating customer requirements internally to the development and test teams Effective communication skills to discuss business requirements with product management and to internal and external customers’ Ability to discern patterns, leverage existing requirements/design work Understanding of Agile processes and development of requirements from Business Use Cases to Epics to detailed User Stories Understanding of SDLC, interlocks with upstream/downstream functions and quality measurements of work products Typically requires 6+ years related experience with a BS; • 4-6 years’ experience with an MS Major Duties and Functions Responsible for the analysis of specific customer requirements, business use cases, test considerations and Epics/User stories for a Cloud Management product Feature level Point of Contact (POC) towards development teams and possibly other business units within Ericsson. • General Responsibilities Lead one or more requirements gathering and analysis efforts Working closely with the business to align feature priorities across a project Self-directed work style, provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experience professional staff Effective teamwork, organization skills in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, agile environment.
