Mechanical Diploma/Engineer with 5-10 years of experience of Vendor Identification, Vendor Development & Vendor Selection for Mechanical/Electrical Engineering items like Thermowells, Flanges,etc. 2. Developing new suppliers for better Rates, Quality & Lead Time and increasing localization of suppliers. 3. Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering, Drawings. 4. Strong understanding of Machine Shop Operations on Lathe, Capston, CNCs, Drilling Machines with hands on working experience in Production. 5. Strong knowledge and experience in Techno Commercial Negotiations. 6. Cost Control and minimization of Lead Time. 7. Preparing cost estimates, cost analysis and commercial strategies for contracts to be awarded. 8. Leading price /commercial negotiations along with risk analysis and making provision for mitigation. 9. Contract administration including scheduling of drawings, specification, listing of bought-out items, break-up of price schedule for the contract, monitoring of drawings, checking integrity of the drawing to meet the contractual commitments. 10. Managing verification of contractors profile to confirm suitability, performing rate analysis for various items as well as carrying out validation /checking/modification/value addition of estimate for job. 11. ISO & 5S, Vendor Rating. 12. Spearheading cost reduction initiatives consolidating tasks, eliminating non-value-added processes & complete reengineering of processes and systems. 13. Making effective use of cost analysis tools in support of strategic sourcing process, procurement costs, cost reduction metrics and bottom line performance indicators. 14. Inventory Control and ABC Analysis of the inventory.
