Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). Job Responsibilities: Scoping and Estimating: • Scoping of the automation solution for opportunities in Industrial Security areas. • Focus is on Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and Physical Security Systems. • Works closely with Sales/New Business Development (and the assigned sales pursuit team) to generate the best scoped proposal (value & cost) for each customer opportunity. • Understand the winning strategy and how to lead the solution formulation for this area. • Develop cost estimating with the maximum usage of low cost labor. • Works with affiliate Honeywell companies on transfer pricing and technical support as needed. • Also works with local subcontractors on field design and installation. • Working with marketing, capturing and continuous improvement of our value differentiation in the market place. • Leverage this knowledge in our proposals and value propositions. Project Execution: • Deliver projects at or under budget. • Proper Project Management and Project Controls methods and techniques are to be utilized. • Customer and scope management is a must. Execution and delivery is to be performed in a manner that builds a positive customer relationship. • Key metric is repeat customer business. • Provide the necessary engineering resources to yield successful project execution. • When appropriate, this would include the usage of third party subcontractors/partners and/or the recruiting of key skills to be successful Communication: • Interacts frequently with Account Managers and Business Development Leaders; • Interacts with customers in a manner that facilitates connectivity and trust, with a focus on developing a relationship for repeat business. • Works pipeline opportunities with these individuals to ensure we are maximizing operations upfront involvement. • Discusses ideas and takes action to close gaps in any needs to progress opportunities towards successful closure. • Develops governance and oversight level relationships with key customers. • Takes necessary action to keep a positive customer experience intact. • Interacts with customers in a manner that facilitates connectivity and trust, with a focus on developing a relationship for repeat business. Technologies: • Access Control & Security (ACS) System • Intrusion Detection System (IDS) • Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) • Temaline Access Control • Muster Stations • Wireless Infrastructure • Radar Video Surveillance • Active IR Intrusion Detection • Covert Fiber Intrusion Detection • Video Analytics • Network Systems (WAN, LAN, WLAN) Basic Qualifications: • BS Degree in engineering or related field or 5 years experience in lieu of degree. • 3 years experience in engineering and delivering security solutions. Additional Qualifications: • Experience in industrial facilities with physical security technologies/solutions. • Knowledge and connectivity to government driven regulations in security. • Knowledge of security infrastructure needs/requirements.
