Job Title: Windows / VMware Administrator Duration: Full Time/Permanent Location: Cary, NC / Dallas, TX (Can apply for only one location) Salary: $Negotiable/Annum + Benefits Visa Status: US Citizens/GC Holders Send resume to soloman@vdartinc.com MCSE / MCSA / MCP / MCITP / VCP (Any one is must) Job Description: 5-7 Years experience in administering Windows 2000/2003/2008 Server and Active Directory. Will be responsible for the maintenance RIMM project (Including Remote installation and maintenance of existing setup/server/installation of new setup/server) • Deal with Hardware vendors like IBM / HP / Dell /Following up with Vendors hardware & software whenever required & resolve issues by minimizing downtimes. • Responsible for Root cause analysis • Responsible for Resolving Escalated issue. • Will have to report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of Daily reports. • Will make sure that the Tickets raised per shift are closed in the required time limits and escalated as per the escalation Matrix. • Knowledge on ESX servers from command line • Monitoring and Performance analysis on ESX Servers and VMs • Patching of ESX severs and VMs with VMware Update manager • Allocation of storage spaces to VMs through SAN (Storage Area Network) • Ability to work with VSPHERE / VMware Consolidated Backup / Virtual machine backups • Experience on Data Center Migration • Experience on Platespin Migrate Software • In depth knowledge on VMWare concepts like VMotion, SVMotion, FT - Fault Tolerance, VHMA (VMware Infrastructure Management Assistant), DRS (Distributed Resource Scheduler), DPM (Distributed Power Management), SRM (Site Recovery Manager), Update Manager, patching Host and VMs. • Understanding of Storage (SAN, NAS - Network-attached storage, iSCSI - Internet Small Computer Systems Interface) and routing and switching.
