Qualified candidates for this position will have experience with HPLC as well as sound knowledge of basic analytical techniques. The Chemist II is responsible for performing analytical and biological tests and investigating test failures in support of release of finished products; participating in validation of test methods; and revising SOP's in an FDA-regulated environment. Responsibilities include: • Operation of various instrumentation including but not limited to UV/Vis, GC and HPLC • Assist with chemistry lab personnel training • Work with Elisa for the testing of sterile based products • Monitoring the laboratory activities utilizing trending reports and production summaries • Exercise strong analytical problem-solving skills • Responsible for writing technology protocols and the laboratory execution of technical protocols • Work as a goal oriented team to ensure product and environmental quality standards are met The qualified candidate will have: • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry is ideal • 2 -6 years of related analytical chemistry preference in a QA/QC chemistry lab • Experience with HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, Lab Prep and Wet Chemistry • Knowledge of USP and FDA Standards (GLP and GMP) as they relate to operations in a chemistry laboratory • General knowledge of LIMS, Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook and Access Industry: Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry, Analytical Chemist Job Code: Chemist II #303-41-MH2322 Contact: Heather Send resume to: 303-41-MH2322@apply.maxhire.net Permanent position with an employee centered company offering great benefits, salary, bonus and relocation assistance.
