Location: Mumbai Department: Network Function: Technology ROLE PURPOSE: Responsible for the Operations of SNOC Key Accountabilities Operations of SNOC - Management of SNOC facility, the work force and the Service desk Quality Management - Managing the Network and Service quality Process Management - Managing the Processes across Circles and NOC’s Change Management - Configuration management Opex management - Managing the opex for SNOC(Budgeting etc.) Coordination with Suppliers - Ensuring the timely delivery of solution and features from the suppliers ROLE DIMENSIONS FINANCIAL (Limits/Mandates Etc.) : DOA as per Company Policy, Opex Management as per budget, Work Force management, Supplier Management. NON FINANCIAL : Predictive operations, Single source of truth, Consolidated view of the entire network & services (Fast RCA), Leverage existing infrastructure, tools and resources, Same number of people managing expanding network, Capex optimization TYPICAL OUTPUTS : Implementation of technical solution and efficient operations that meets the business objective( Improvise MTTR, reduction in Churn , Employee satisfaction Index etc) PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS Masters/Bachelors-Electronics and communication 14-15 years of experience in Mobile network operations i.e. CDMA 3g1x, HSIA, GSM ,and OSS telecommunication networks [FCAPS ] NMS Solutions, People Management (Line Management), Solutions Consulting, Management of service/business delivery (Operations) teams, Customer focused delivery; Business acumen, Implementation of projects within pre-set budgets and deadlines, Excellent Analytical & Presentation skills , Good Exposure to International business community, Technical skills in various EMS/NMS products, ITIL certified, Process owner, Strong people management and leadership skills Knowledge of planning, executing having experience in GSM, CDMA technology & microwave, transmission (PDH / SDH / DWDM ) , radio & wireless networking , IP-MPLS Hard core OSS planner in telecom domain, should have knowledge of eTOM and ITIL with strong process orientation Those interested in exploring this challenging assignment may write to me / forward their latest updated profiles to estaffing@vsnl.net Regards Prakash Nambiar Director"
