"The Equities Applications Development Department is looking to hire a Senior Analyst/Programmer to join the Electronic Execution Development Team in Singapore. The Electronic Execution Development Team is responsible for developing highly performing, low latency platforms that meet the needs of the Electronic Execution Regional Business. Product silos supported include Dark Pools, Client Connectivity, Exchange Connectivity, Smart Order Routing, Algos and Data analytics. Development work is driven by changes in market regulations, customer requests, new offerings by regional exchanges and a desire to remain extremely competitive in the electronic space. The role is responsible for designing and developing real-time trading solutions for the Equities Electronic Execution business, addressing technical queries and resolving production issues as required; working with external and/or global development teams to ensure the successful delivery of sophisticated applications; and conducting / coordinating Systems and Integration Testing. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and exceptional software engineering and development capabilities in C++ , JAVA, relational databases (Sybase, SQL Server), object databases (KDB), UNIX (Solaris), LINUX (Red Hat) and Windows Server (2008). Knowledge of equities products and markets is highly desirable. Previous experience working on Algos and/or Dark Pools is also highly desirable.
